Christmas Gifting at Superdrug…

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa

I have been a rather lucky blogger, and have been sent four lovely gifts from Superdrug and I’m sharing with you here on EAB. Before I begin, I do have to apologise for the use of Superdrug stock images instead of Mark’s beautiful photographs here on my blog, we’ve been having a few issues which I shan’t bore you with right now. But I can honestly say that these products have been sent to me for reviewing I haven’t just picked four products from the website and put them here, I was however asked to choose which gifts I would like to feature and I chose gifts that I would love to receive myself or gifts that I would definitely give to others.

Regular readers may know that I am a huge fan of B. Skincare, a Superdrug own brand, but Mark has yet to try the B. Men products, so I though that this would be perfect for him to dip his toe into, and the rest of him too, obviously! This is a super gift set for the man in your life. With a 4 in 1 wash that is suitable for hair beard face and body, it’s a huge 200ml too. There’s a 150ml of delicious moisturiser for face body and hands in this gift set. Both products contain Vitamin E, Horse Chestnut and Willow Bark extracts. Both of these products are suitable for Vegetarian and Vegans. Right now you can save £4 on this gift HERE.

The Spaa Escape and Relax Slipper Set is a gift I would love to find under the Christmas tree. It contains a pair of comfy looking towelling slippers that will fit shoe sizes 5 to 7 a 100g package of reviving Bath Salts, which going from past experience of using this Spaa brand, smells amazing! There is also a 75ml tube of Nourishing Foot Lotion. A super gorgeous set to use at the end of a long day methinks. This gift set is half price at Superdrug at the moment HERE.

For anyone who enjoys fruity fragrances I think the Fruity by Superdrug shower set is ideal. The Fruity range of shower gels are some of my favourites and always in my bathroom cabinet. This one is Pineapple and Papaya fragrance, and it really does smell amazing! There is a 100ml shower gel, 100ml body lotion and a pineapple sponge. This gift set is half price HERE.

If you love makeup, whoever you are, you can never have too many brushes. This is a super set of three brushes and a foundation blending sponge by Studio, London. I think that this set is ideal to give to someone just starting out using makeup, and I have an idea of who in my family would rather like this. I’ve not used this brand of brushes myself yet, so I can’t comment on the workability of them. They are synthetic so they will be easy to clean. The sponge contains latex which may cause an allergic reaction. The Studio London 4 piece brush set is half price right now in Superdrug stores and online HERE.

Once again, I’m so sorry for the use of stock images in this post. However I have taken some photos with my phone and will be popping them over on my Instagram shortly.

Thank you for stopping by today.

B. Skincare Contouring Cream…

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

I’ve another B. Skincare beauty today. It’s the Contouring Cream which you can get from Superdrug. I’ll leave links at the end of this post.

Another product by B. Skincare that I’m loving, so much so that I have another bottle in my shopping basket waiting for me to checkout! With the great pump delivery system, I use two pumps worth on my skin after cleansing and toning, and before moisturising. While I’ve been trialling the serum I used it night and morning under day cream and night cream. I press it into my face in an upward outward motion. I can feel an instant tightening which feels lovely. The serum contains an ingredient that is clinically proven to boost the skins natural production of collagen and also elastin, and I think it’s working for me. It has softened out the lines between my eyebrows, also known as “number 11’s” and the horizontal line I have on my forehead is diminished too. My cheek and chin areas appear smoother, and pores are lessened as well. Lovely, lovely, lovely indeed. You will find the B. Skincare Contouring Cream in Superdrug on the High Street and also HERE.

A Tint for the Lips and Cheeks..B. Makeup

I do love a product that’s multi tasking, you know using a lipstick for cheeks as well as lips? Well look what I’ve got, it’s a product that you can use on the lips AND the cheeks! *rolls eyes* Today I thought that I would share with you what I think of the Lip and Cheek Tint from B. Makeup.

Okay so of the 6 shades available I have 3, from the left is Crimson Caress, Frivolous and Just a Kiss. The B. Makeup Lip and Cheek Tint is the perfect must have for my makeup bag, it gives the prettiest pop of colour to lips and cheeks when you don’t want to go for a full on makeup. Although it’s buildable to be more intense if you need it to be. It does have a lightweight creamy texture and it blends so easily too. The colour payoff is lovely, quite subtle, my favourite shade is the first one in the photo, Crimson Caress it’s the one that I’ve reached for more than the other two. I apply it to my cheeks with my fingers in a patting motion, which is my preferred method for all cream blush, it’s non oily and once it’s on the skin it gives me a dewy look to my cheeks. To keep it looking dewy I don’t apply any finishing powder, but it lasts on me all day.

Using the same shade on my lips, it’s just as lovely. It doesn’t feel sticky or tacky, I have used it with my finger to apply for a pretty “your lips but better” pop of subtle tint. It doesn’t give my lips much of a shine, but it’s certainly not drying either. To add more of an intense colour boost I applied the tint using my lip brush, and it looks amazing. The B. Makeup Lip and Cheek Tint is perfect for Summer time makeup, but I think I shall be using it well into the cooler Autumn days too. If you want to check them out for yourself you will find them HERE.

Hydrate The Skin with B. Skincare Facial Spritz…

Hey there my lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty..

There is nothing like a gorgeous cooling facial spritz to give the skin a pick me up, and I have two beauties to share with you today. They are both from the B. Skincare range at Superdrug, in store and online. This is the B. Vitalised Vitamin Facial Spritz and The B. Hydrated Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz.

I’ll start with the Vitamin facial Spritz, which is my favourite of the two. It’s got some really gorgeous ingredients in there, including  Caffeine, Vitamin C and Cucumber Juice which helps to revitalise, brighten and generally pep up tired lack lustre skin, and I so need it at the moment too. It has a refreshing fragrance which helps to pep up the senses too, especially first thing in the morning after cleansing. It’s also really cooling which has been especially great for the hot muggy weather we have going on in the UK right now. How have I been using the  spritz? After cleansing I spritz 2 pumps worth, in an X shape over my face, followed by the Superdrug Nourishing Gel moisturiser. Review is HERE. Both products together helps to give my skin a much brighter look. The spritz is also perfect to use over the top of makeup as a pick me up during the day, it helps to give a fresher look, just remember not to rub your face while the spritz is still damp on your face, or your foundation will come off, yup I did that, good job my family don’t judge me ha ha. You can find the B. Vitalised Vitamin Facial Spritz at Superdrug HERE.

Next is the B. Hydrated Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz. Containing also, soothing Witch Hazel as well as being packed with Hyaluronic Acid, it’s perfect to give the skin a thorough deep down moisturisation without leaving the pores feeling clogged. It helps to make the skin look more radiant and plumped up, great for me on the days when my skin is feeling a little drier than usual. I mainly use this one in my night time routine after cleansing, and then apply my night cream or overnight mask. This facial spritz can also be used during the day over the top of makeup as a refresher, it’s a handy size to carry in your handbag too. You can find the B. Hydrated Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz at Superdrug HERE.

Right now in Superdrug there is better than half price on selected B. and Superdrug skincare, so great if you want to get stocked up on beautiful Vegan friendly products.

Nourishing Gel Moisturiser with Vitamin C….

Hello lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

Detoxify the skin with this gorgeous fruity gel moisturiser! It’s been perfect for me especially as it’s been so hot, it just feels so cooling on the skin, and it’s lightweight so not cloying, it’s hydrating enough for me with my mature dry skin. This is the Nourishing Gel Moisturiser from Superdrug own brand range of fantastic skincare, in store and online.

Infused with wonderful Vitamin C, it contains ‭Kakadu Plum which has actually got the highest known amount of Vitamin C of any food at all. There is Goji Berry in there, which is one of those superfruits sorts, known for its calming properties and wellbeing, there’s Grapefruit in there too which hits you in the nose as soon as you open the jar, it’s like wow, wake that skin and the senses up! I love using this moisturiser in the mornings it’s really uplifting and helps to keep my skin soft and hydrated all day. There’s no “balling” of the cream on the skin when applying, it sinks in beautifully and foundation applies perfectly on top too. I love using this after the B. Skincare Vitamin Spritz as a really brightening refreshing daily treat for my skin. (I have a review of a couple of facial spritz’s coming up soon) AND, I shall be popping into my local Superdrug to pick up the Vitamin C Facial Cleanser and Vitamin C Booster to go with.
