Charcoal Face Mask from We ❤️ Facemasks by Superdrug..

Hey there my lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa…

I’ve got another one of those super gorgeous face masks from the Superdrug own brand range of We love Facemasks.

The face mask I’m sharing today is the Charcoal Facemask. It’s a deep cleansing mud mask that smells nothing like other charcoal products I’ve used, this smells fresh and delicious!

It’s thick and feels creamy in texture and cold to the touch too so I knew that I was going to love this mask, a lot. It did not disappoint me either. I applied the mask after cleansing my face, using a flat foundation brush and left it to dry on my skin for about 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes I splashed my face with warm water and massaged the mask on my face to soften it, then removed it completely with my face cloth and dried my face. My skin felt clean, and a little tight to be honest, although not dry just smooth and refreshed. This is a mask that I shall continue to use at night after cleansing I think, then add my oils etc. Containing natural ingredients, all these face masks are suitable for Vegans and all packaging is recyclable too!

There are 6 of these face masks in the range and I do want to try the other three that I don’t have, and at just £4.99 and a “Buy 1 get 2nd half price mix and match” offer in Superdrug at the moment, it’s the ideal time to stock up methinks. You will find the Charcoal Face Mask HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today..

Superdrug Kitchen Face Masks… Blueberry Jam Face Mask!

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa..

I love me a face mask, a face mask of any kind pampers my skin especially at this time of year. It’s freezing cold so the central heating is on which leaves my skin really dry and dehydrated. So today I thought that I would share with you a delicious face mask that’s jam-packed full of fruity goodness (actually Superdrug said “gooey goodness”) yes it’s gooey alright but it’s also very fruity too! I’ve been sent three Superdrug  own brand of Kitchen Facemasks, the first one I’m sharing is the Blueberry Jam face mask.

This really is a delicious sweet-smelling just like jam face mask. Very yummy, I almost want to spread some on a scone and add a bit of whipped cream! But I resisted the temptation and applied it to my face after cleansing. I used a flat foundation brush to apply the mask to my face, it really is quite gloopy but it had a heat to it as I was applying it, the kind of sensation you get from a self heating face mask. I left the mask on my face for 15 minutes, I could smell the sugary sweetness. After the 15 minutes I added a little bit of warm water and massaged the mask on my face. I could feel the sugar within it  providing  some gentle exfoliation. I removed the mask with a face cloth and warm water, my skin look rosy pink and glowing, felt really soft, refreshed and clean! This really is quite a lovely “on a budget” face mask to use a couple of times a week. It’s also an environmentally friendly product too, being vegetarian and vegan friendly and all packaging is recyclable too! Pop along to your local Superdrug or go to Superdrug online HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today.

B. Strong… Skincare for 60 plus

Hey lovelies, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty…

I’m not really one for using products that state they are specifically for my age I’m 57 now, I use product that I like and for my skin concerns if it’s skincare. So when I was sent a day cream and a night cream which are for those who are 60 and beyond, I thought do what?! But when I saw that it was from the B. Skincare brand at Superdrug I decided to give it a go, because I just love the B. Skincare range. Let me start with the Day Cream.

This range of B. Skincare is called B. Strong. To target 60 plus skin that has become thin and dehydrated, skin that has lost density through the ageing process. It’s said to re-cushion the skin, add plumpness back into the skin.

When I first opened the pretty glass jar the fragrance of the cream within brought back memories to me, I just thought that it smelled similar to a cold cream that my Mum used to use many years ago, and a lovely fresh smell it is too I like it a lot! I used the day cream after cleansing first thing in the morning, I have found it really rich but there is no stickiness left on the skin, it sinks in beautifully. I feel as though my skin “sucks” up more cream on the drier areas of my face which are my cheeks. I also took the day cream down onto my neck, again it just sank into the drier areas. After a time I noticed  how plumped up and more hydrated my skin looked, and on another plus it didn’t make my foundation oxidize like some moisturisers can do. This really is a gorgeous day cream, and I knew it wouldn’t let me down, ‘cos it’s from B. Skincare at Superdrug!

This is the equally gorgeous Night Cream from B. Skincare and the B. Strong range. It’s a different coloured glass jar being pretty turquoise which is fantastic for me, it saves me squinting to find my Night cream when I don’t take my reading glasses into the bathroom at night. The bright-coloured glass makes it easily recognisable, thanks B. Skincare! The Night Cream is much more rich than the Day Cream, and again it doesn’t feel sticky on the skin, it sinks in like a dream. I used this after cleansing at night, and on it’s own I never added a serum or oil like I normally would in my night time routine, I took it right down my neck as well as massaging it into my face. The next morning my skin looked so soft, it was certainly hydrated and there were no dry patches. I haven’t stopped using either of these B. Strong creams, I am really enjoying what they are doing to my skin right now, in fact my skin has never looked better!

You can find all B. Skincare only at Superdrug on the High Street or online, right now there is a Better than half price on selected B. Skincare HERE.

Thank you for stopping by my lovelies.

Totally Tropical Body Mists from Superdrug….Staying with Summer in Autumn!

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa..

As much as I love the cooler months of the year (Spring is actually my favourite season) Christmas is a coming and Strictly Come Dancing is on the television, it’s just gorgeous to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate at this time of year. But saying that I do love the fruity zesty fragrances that the warmer weather brings us. I was introduced to two beautiful tropical fragrances in the form of a body mist that is currently at Superdrug in store and online, to give me a bit of fruity luxury in the Autumn and Winter time, right through Christmas and New Year too. The first fragrance is Pink Tropic.

I just love the pink packaging! I love the shape of the bottle, I love the gold coloured top too, which gives it a more expensive look. This is definitely a body mist, the spray is so light it doesn’t leave the skin dripping wet with the fragrance like a lot of body mists do. As for the gorgeous fragrance of Crushed Pineapple and Coconut it really does leave your skin smelling fresh and sweet, but after spraying on the body it doesn’t leave it dry just really quite moisturised, which is due to the added castor oil I would think. I also sprayed the body mist on my legs after shaving, and it didn’t sting! If you want a bit of tropical Summer nights in Autumn, in a fragrance try this one HERE.

Although my favourite colour is pink, my favourite of these two body mists is this one Aqua Haze. It’s more fruity and zesty which is what I love in any fragrance. It’s tangy lemon, crisp sharp apple and sweet ripe pear. This lasted longer on my skin than the first one to be perfectly honest with you, it does have a stronger fragrance, but it still feels as though it’s moisturising and not drying the skin out if I choose not to use body lotion. You can find this beautiful body mist just HERE.

Right now at Superdrug there is Double points on selected Christmas gifting and you can save up to half price on Selected Christmas gifting.

Thank you for stopping by.
