Ellora Beauty…… Intensive Eye Contour Serum

Hi loves, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

I’ve another lovely natural skincare product from Ellora Beauty to share with you. This is the Intensive Eye Contour Serum. I love eye creams, especially those that say they are brightening like this one claims to do, but did it? Please read on….

Yet another incredibly lovely Ellora Beauty product that I’ve enjoyed trialling. At first I wasn’t so sure but the more I’ve used it the more I grew to love it. It’s a great size 15ml with a pump-action delivery system which I love, you get the correct amount of product to use, well normally anyway. I’ll explain more in just a moment. The ingredients within this eye serum are all in there to create a powerful treatment for the eye area. There’s  Swiss Apple Stem Cells, Vitamins, Mountain Tea, Damask Rose and Oat Extracts, Almond, Olive, Avocado and Borage Oils, and also an ingredient called BEAUTIFYE which I did have to research as I have never heard of it, and it’s basically  “the first active ingredient in the cosmetics industry that demonstrates a lifting action on sagging upper eyelids” says google. So there you go. The Ellora Intensive Eye Contour Serum is more like a cream in consistency and it’s white in colour, rather than a clear product.

I used the eye serum morning and night to trial it and used one full pump worth between both eyes. I used it all around the contour of each eye, and as I suffer from hooded eyelids that have occurred naturally through the aging process, I worked the serum upwards and outwards over the sagging part of my upper eyes, the brow bone area in effect. It feels so rich when applying, very cooling, very hydrating and made my eyes feel very awake (that’s a lot of very’s) After a few days and nights use I noticed that I was “breaking out” just under my eyebrows where I had place the serum to help lift the area. Not a problem, I figured that it was a little too rich for me so I just used less of the serum, after a day or so, the spots went and carried on using the serum but applied less of the product.

The Ellora Beauty Intensive Eye Contour Serum is a lovely product, I’ve enjoyed using it over the past few weeks and yes I have noticed the effectiveness of it. It does give a slight lift to my sagging eyebrow area, I can see a little more of my eyelid when looking in a mirror, but mainly it has given me intense hydration, smoothed out my lines and my eye area is looking a lot brighter and more awake. The little bit of darkness and puffiness that I have is diminished.

Sounds good doesn’t it? If you would like to give it a go yourself, you can find it HERE.

Organic and Botanic Mandarin Orange Restorative Eye Serum

Hello my loves, welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty…

I’ve not really used an eye serum as part of my skincare regime I’ve always plumped for an eye cream, but I’ve recently been using one from the Organic & Botanic range that they very kindly sent to me. This is the Mandarin Orange Restorative Eye Serum.

A pipette type delivery system for this eye serum that’s held within a little brown glass bottle. I do love the simple packaging, everything is recyclable.  But it’s the ingredients that packs a punch for me. Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Chamomile Flower and Starflower Seed Oil to name just a few, and it’s all organic and all ethically sourced. Absolutely no Parabens, no preservatives and no animal testing in any product from Organic & Botanic!

When I first received my eye serum I wasn’t sure how to use it. I thought that a serum is used before a moisturiser, but after cleansing I applied it to under my eyes, around my brow bone and paid particular attention to the outer corners. I use my ring finger all the time as this has the lightest touch, to pat the product into the skin. You don’t need to use a lot of serum, a little really does go a long way. As I was applying the serum I noticed how fruity the fragrance is, it’s gorgeous! It feels like a very light oil, but doesn’t feel oily, if that makes sense. It sank into my skin straight away , leaving the skin feeling completely hydrated. I’ve also been using this lovely eye serum underneath an eye cream as a treatment “mask” overnight, and this has worked beautifully for me. It doesn’t leave me with puffy eyes the following morning which did worry me that it would.

Organic & Botanic Mandarin Orange Restorative Eye Serum is £69 for 15ml, and this is going to last a good few months. If you would like to take a look at this and other beautiful products go HERE.

Evolution Slimming Anti Ageing Skincare; The Review…..

Welcome back lovelies!

I have been very kindly sent Evocleanse Antioxidant Facial Cleanser, Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum and Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle Cream. There are two products that I like and one I didn’t.

One I do like is the Evocleanse Antioxidant Facial Cleanser, which contains Green Tea Leaf Extract. This is very much a unisex product as it doesn’t contain perfume, it does however have a rather clinical, clean smell, it’s a pump-action delivery system giving you correct amount to use each cleanse. The product is a lovely clear gel which feels very cooling when applied to the skin. The directions say to apply it using a face cloth or cotton wool pads, but I pumped out 3 pumps and massaged it over my dampened skin for a couple of minutes then removed it with a face cloth. Afterwards my face looked and felt so fresh and clean, although it felt a little dry and tight, nothing moisturising wouldn’t fix. You get 59ml for £19.99

The next product I tried was the Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle cream, it’s colour and fragrance free, it contains shea butter and tetrapeptide – 7 and helps to improve the look of lines and wrinkles making them less noticeable. Helps to smooth the look of the forehead, neck and mouth areas. When I used it after the Evocleanse, and I have been using all the products for about 3 weeks, yes it has given my skin a smoother look. I have a bit of a problem on my chin area where I suffered from acne as a teenager I have a bit of scarring and they do seem smoother. But I don’t like the product because I found that it wasn’t moisturising enough for my dry skin I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with dry skin at all. The Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle cream is £29.99 for 29ml.

Lastly I used the Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum, a pro-protein formula to use on the eye area. It’s a gorgeous light gel, very cooling when applied. Helps with crows feet, wrinkles and puffiness. It comes in a pump delivery system and I used just one pump between both eyes taking the serum right under the eyes and outwards towards the corner of the eye. I do like to use an eye gel, but prefer it on days when I’m not wearing makeup, and this is perfect for those no makeup days when I just want an eye freshener. The Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum is £19.99 for 15ml. You can however buy all three products as a “bundle” for £49.99 from HERE.
