Heaven Skincare Prism Age Defiance Cream … My Thoughts

I am seriously nervous about writing and posting my review on this new Heaven Skincare product. It uses technology that I really don’t understand at all. I’m not a scientist, I’m not a beauty therapist or a skin specialist, I’m just someone who enjoys using beauty products and then writing about them here on Elegant Ageless Beauty. This product was sent to me for review.

Heaven’s newest product is the Prism Age Defiance Cream, an anti-aging cream which is made all the more powerful when in contact with a light source! This is the part I don’t understand, so I’m going to be honest with you, I’m just going to tell you how the Prism cream worked for me. This is what Heaven says

“Prism Age Defiance Cream is a revolutionary anti-ageing moisturiser that on contact with any light source generates smoother, tighter skin actually reversing the signs of damage & ageing from sunlight, light and pollutants. a natural sun care boosts collagen on exposure to UVA, UVB and Infrared light. protects you from visible light from mobile phones, tablets and computers”

Let’s talk ingredients. Organic Coconut Absolute is the base oil, with Vitamins B5 and E in there too as is  Hyaluronic Acid. The amino acid called L-Carnosine packs a punch in anti-aging skincare and it’s within this beauty also, to help skin cells to reproduce quicker, it especially helps with deep-set wrinkles and helps to reduce the appearance of age spots and skin that is thinning.

Prism Age Defiance from Heaven Skincare has all these amazing features, It helps to protect against sun damage, as it protects against skin DNA damage although it is NOT  an SPF, it’s an anti-ageing moisturiser that helps clear spots and prevent further break outs. Which I am so grateful for actually, as it’s worked for  my breakouts, I’ve been suffering terribly recently because I’m trialing other skincare at the moment. Other things I’ve noticed since using the Prism Age Defiance Cream is that my nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds) are plumped out and less noticeable. As a former smoker I have lines on my top lip that bug the heck out of me, but they too have diminished since using Prism Age Defiance Cream it’s also soft and smooth and moisturised too. This anti-aging cream really is Heavenly, it’s suitable for all skin types, helps with rosacea and sensitive skin too. You will find Heaven Skincare Prism Age Defiance Cream HERE.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Welcome back to Elegant Ageless Beauty.

Mark has always been shower/bath – hair wash – shave a couple of days a week – deodorant, then a bit of aftershave if we go out kind of guy, he’s never really been into skin care at all. Then along came Deborah Mitchell and Heaven Skincare, and all that changed. Deborah very generously sent him a selection of her men’s grooming products to try. Here is one of his favourites, M4M Anti Ageing Moisturiser.

The packaging for all Heaven men’s grooming products is very nice, it’s sleek and masculine in black I think it’s very stylish looking. This moisturiser has a great pump-action delivery system, just press down the top and the correct amount of product is dispensed.

There are some gorgeous ingredients within M4M moisturiser, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Cedar Wood, Coconut oil and Organic Clary Sage. Clary Sage is in there to balance the production of natural oils in the skin, it also helps to reduce inflammation and rashes therefore making it ideal for use after shaving, particularly for those men who are prone to razor rash. The Cedar Wood will tone the skin. Vitamin A is for helping with those lines and wrinkles, Vitamin E is to help the skin repair itself and protect it from free radicals.

Mark is a big fan of moisturising his face now, he loves the way his skin feels after he’s shaved and applied this lovely moisturiser. It also smells gorgeous too! It’s a lovely fresh fragrance, he told me that the one pump’s worth is all he needs to moisturise his face and neck, he said it sinks in lovely, and it doesn’t make his face feel sticky or greasy. I have to say that the first time Mark used the moisturiser his skin did look and feel very soft. I’m so glad there’s more than one mirror in our house now Mark has taken an interest in skincare!

Heaven Skincare…. Silver Bee Venom Mask

Welcome to  Elegant Ageless Beauty. I’m Teresa.

This must be the piece de resistance of my beautiful Heaven by Deborah Mitchell Skincare that the lovely lady herself sent to me at Christmas time. This is the Silver Bee Venom Mask.

This amazing product is a multi tasker and then some! It’s loved by celebrities and royalty.  It’s ingredients are all organic and contains bee venom, nature’s alternative to Botox and Deborah Mitchell has upped the ante by creating and patented Abeetoxin* a formula that is said to have immediate effects by relaxing lines and wrinkles, and tightens and firms the skin. It is said to have an instant anti ageing effect, firms and releases collagen, it helps to relax the muscles of the face and is an analgesic. Other ingredients in this beautiful mask are Organic Rose and Organic Lavender, Organic Marshmallow herb, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Beta Carotene, Manuka Honey, with bee venom and Abeetoxin* this makes for a very powerful treatment mask.

I tried to find out how bee venom is extracted, because as we all know that when a bee stings it will die thereafter, and with the population of bees at risk I really needed to find out more. I haven’t had an answer straight from the “bees” mouth, but I have found an interview that Deborah Mitchell did with the Daily Mail, where she explains all. Deborah is an official guardian of bees, she donates a percentage of profits to bee charities, and also the way she extracts the venom will actually save the lives of bees. A very small electrical current on a pane of glass will make the bees “sting” the glass, it doesn’t cause them any harm but it will encourage them to release their venom and NOT their stinger because the glass is too hard for that to be released into. The bee lives, and the venom is then just scraped off the glass.

So what did I think of this bee-utiful face mask? I adore the packaging, it looks like a glass cube and is as weighty as glass but it’s not glass I think it’s probably perspex. Within the glass looking cube there is an inner well that holds the wonder cream. When I first opened the jar I took a sniff, it smells amazing! mostly of organic rose and lavender, very subtle and yummy. I decided to use this as an overnight mask treatment and applied it after cleansing taking right up under my eyes. It’s a lovely rich cream, although not heavy, very comfortable to wear and not sticky for overnight. The following morning I checked my skin, it looked more refreshed, smooth and firm, fine lines around my eyes were lessened, the horizontal line above my left eye had gone, my number 11s too. Under my eyes are really smooth and hydrated, eyes look more awake. I shall always use my Silver Bee Venom Mask as an overnight treatment a couple of times a week, but it can be used as a mask for just 15 minutes then rinsed off with cool water. Or use it as a moisturiser/primer under your makeup too. I haven’t tried it under my make up yet, I shall try that later on today, then come back with an update later.

There is one thing that I love about Heaven products, you can actually buy trial sizes before you commit to buy the full sized product, 5ml of product is just £7.50 and because it contains bee venom check first that you aren’t allergic. See Heaven Skincare HERE  for the Silver Bee Venom Mask.

See you next week for another Face Mask Friday!

Silk Skin Bee Bee Cream….The Makeup You Can Go To Bed In…..

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty…

Yes you read the title right, today I’m sharing with you a glorious product that is skincare, but because it’s a tinted moisturiser you can use it as makeup. This is the Silk Skin BeeBee Cream from Heaven Skincare by Deborah Mitchell.

Very shiny glamorous looking packaging! The top you simply twist up to reveal the pump-action dispenser which I love. The ingredients within the tinted moisturizer are all organic and natural and includes Deborah Mitchell’s patented ABEETOXIN (more about that in a future Face Mask Friday) the base of this lovely BeeBee Cream is organic Soya Bean, other ingredients include Vitamin E, Silk Protein, and Hyaluronic Acid, and there are minerals in there for the colour. A beautiful tinted moisturiser that hydrates the skin, minimises fine lines and wrinkles, its anti ageing and has an SPF 20

The first time I used the BeeBee Cream I did my usual skincare routine, with my Heaven cleanser, Hydrogel and Divine Cream. I applied the BeeBee cream with my fingers as instructed, it went on perfectly. It’s a tinted moisturiser so has a light coverage, but it covered everything I have an issue with apart from the inner corners of my eye where they are quite black at the moment. My skin looked glowing, enlarged pores appeared lessened and the tiny bit of redness on my chin didn’t look quite so “angry” This, quite obviously is skincare, a moisturiser and it’s a perfect one. My skin felt soft and moisturised all day long. You can use this BeeBee Cream around the eyes which I did, it kept my under eyes hydrated, fine lines are diminished and with it being a colour product too, it didn’t settle into those lines. I never added any make up to my face while I was trying this moisturiser, and throughout the day I kept an eye on how it was wearing and how my skin was feeling. This is a gorgeous tinted moisturiser for keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day, but the colour oxidized on my skin, my face after a few hours looked orange! I was so disappointed. I decided to give the BeeBee cream another go the following day but this time I didn’t use my Divine Cream moisturiser, I applied my tinted moisturiser on top of the Hydrogel only. This is much better! After a few hours wear the BeeBee Cream hadn’t oxidized on my skin, my face was still soft and smooth and hydrated as if I was wearing a moisturiser, and it looked like I had a really healthy glow to my skin, it’s beautiful.

I have also used my Silk Skin BeeBee Cream as a base for my usual makeup. I added my concealer and powder, blusher etc. It’s a lovely base too, I used it around my eyes and added concealer then set it with powder, there was no creasing at all. Powder goes on perfectly as does blusher. BUT, when you use it as a base for your makeup it STOPS being “The Makeup You Can Go To Bed In”

Silk Skin BeeBee Cream comes in 3 shades. English Rose, Honey and Caramel. HERE
