Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer…

Welcome to Elegant Ageless Beauty, I’m Teresa.

I’m so late to the party when it comes to this concealing product, I’m pretty sure you will probably have read so many blog reviews and seen so many You Tube videos where this is featured, but hey, better late than never! This is of course Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

collectionconcealer

This concealer has won multiple awards which I didn’t realise. It’s water-resistant and transfer proof too, great for the hot weather and also when the colder wetter days are here. I used this under my eyes and also over my eyelids. It’s a thick creamy consistency and blends beautifully. It concealed the darkness I have on the inner corners of my eyes, and it covered the slight discolouration on my eyelids. I used it under my eyes and blended it using a patting motion with my ring finger, it’s perfect. When I applied a dusting of powder to set it the concealer didn’t sink into any lines at all. I have a bit of redness around my nose, on my left cheek and my chin, and it covers all those for me. I always apply my concealer after my foundation or BB Cream, and it works perfectly with either. I am also confident enough to say that I could go out with just this concealer on my skin, a bit of mascara and lip gloss, that’s how good I think it is! It really is Perfection. This concealer will be a re-purchase when I’ve run out, it’s going to become a staple in my makeup collection. I have the shade Cool Medium 2, but it’s available in other shades too.

I purchased Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer from Superdrug HERE.

I have been very kindly sent Evocleanse Antioxidant Facial Cleanser, Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum and Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle Cream. There are two products that I like and one I didn’t.

One I do like is the Evocleanse Antioxidant Facial Cleanser, which contains Green Tea Leaf Extract. This is very much a unisex product as it doesn’t contain perfume, it does however have a rather clinical, clean smell, it’s a pump-action delivery system giving you correct amount to use each cleanse. The product is a lovely clear gel which feels very cooling when applied to the skin. The directions say to apply it using a face cloth or cotton wool pads, but I pumped out 3 pumps and massaged it over my dampened skin for a couple of minutes then removed it with a face cloth. Afterwards my face looked and felt so fresh and clean, although it felt a little dry and tight, nothing moisturising wouldn’t fix. You get 59ml for £19.99

The next product I tried was the Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle cream, it’s colour and fragrance free, it contains shea butter and tetrapeptide – 7 and helps to improve the look of lines and wrinkles making them less noticeable. Helps to smooth the look of the forehead, neck and mouth areas. When I used it after the Evocleanse, and I have been using all the products for about 3 weeks, yes it has given my skin a smoother look. I have a bit of a problem on my chin area where I suffered from acne as a teenager I have a bit of scarring and they do seem smoother. But I don’t like the product because I found that it wasn’t moisturising enough for my dry skin I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with dry skin at all. The Evocreme Pro-Collagen Anti Wrinkle cream is £29.99 for 29ml.

Lastly I used the Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum, a pro-protein formula to use on the eye area. It’s a gorgeous light gel, very cooling when applied. Helps with crows feet, wrinkles and puffiness. It comes in a pump delivery system and I used just one pump between both eyes taking the serum right under the eyes and outwards towards the corner of the eye. I do like to use an eye gel, but prefer it on days when I’m not wearing makeup, and this is perfect for those no makeup days when I just want an eye freshener. The Evoserum Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum is £19.99 for 15ml. You can however buy all three products as a “bundle” for £49.99 from HERE.

Thank You for stopping by today.

The Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution…..

Welcome back lovelies!

So here it is, my thoughts on the Flawless Palette from Makeup Revolution. I love it! Truth be told I knew I would. Everything about it is just gorgeous. I have waited ages to get it and when I walked into our local Superdrug and saw that at last they were stocking Makeup Revolution products I was a happy bunny. I didn’t pick the palette up myself, I needed other things but when I got to the checkout little did I know Mark had sneaked it into the basket, he’d bought it for me!

IMG_0461

The palette is encased in this gorgeous rose gold box with FLAWLESS embossed rather than printed on it, the rest of the branding is printed in black, simply stunning!

IMG_0535

The palette itself is beautiful shiny piano black with the branding in rose gold, and being so shiny makes it easy to clean to keep it looking, ahem Flawless!

IMG_0494

When I opened the palette I noticed how huge the mirror  is, I can see my whole face not just parts of it. The names of each shade is written on an acetate sheet covering the eyeshadows (sorry I forgot to get a photo of it) There are 32 beautiful shades, from nude/naturals through to deep reds, browns, dark blues and blacks. As far as I can make out there are 8 matte shades, with others being very shimmery/frosted shades and even a couple that are glittery. The quality of ALL the eyeshadows are exceptional, so highly pigmented, creamy texture and so easily blendable and buildable to the intensity you want.

IMG_0610

Okay, so there are 32 eyeshadows and I just couldn’t swatch them all, light was fading so I have just picked out MY 6 of the best! From left to right: Red Night, Burgandy Nights, Green Stars, Blue Stars, Black Tie and Gold Digger. All are such beautiful colours and so easy to use. It doesn’t matter if you don’t use an eye primer while wearing them my non primed eye lasted just as long as the eye with primer. The matte eyeshadows weren’t chalky, and blended well into the crease of my eye and I had no fallout of any of the shadows I used. The beautiful Flawless palette is just £8.00 HERE from the Tam Beauty website OR Superdrug online HERE.

Thank you for reading today lovelies

Spring Time Nails from MUA Makeup Academy……

Hello again lovely people!

I recently ordered  3 gorgeous nail polishes and a palette for the Spring season from MUA Makeup Academy, I thought that I’d just share the nail polish with you first, they are so pretty, I love them.

IMG_0210

Lavender, Spearmint, Posy

These 3 pretty pastel shades are perfect for Spring don’t you think? Lavender is my favourite to be honest as it has that grey undertone that I love, I think it has a very anti – aging effect on my hands. I applied 2 coats for it to become opaque,  the shine is lovely and it was touch dry in a matter of 5 minutes, a really gorgeous nail polish. The next shade, Spearmint is a pretty shade of mint green, this too is opaque in 2 coats and takes no time to dry to a lovely sheen. Now Posy, oh what a pretty pink nail polish this is! It’s a gorgeous colour it will be perfect if you have a Spring wedding to attend. The application is the same as the other 2 polishes, beautiful. If you need to paint your nails and then rush out the door, you couldn’t go far wrong with these beauties.

Because these nail polishes are light, pastel shades I thought they would be rather chalky and difficult to apply, maybe go streaky but no, they apply like a dream. Believe it or not these nail polishes are a bargain at just £1.00. You can check these and many more beautiful shades HERE.

Thank you for reading lovelies.

Amazing Shine Lipgloss from Makeup Revolution….

Hello again lovelies!

Don’t we all just love a pretty shiny lip gloss? Well I have 5 pretties to share with you from those awesome people at Makeup Revolution.

IMG_0171

This is the Amazing Shine Lip Gloss and there are 9 shades to choose from, I have 5 of them and they are from the top: Baby Try a pretty sheer light pink perfect to wear alone to make your lips look glossy and healthy, Hush Hush a sheer but oh so shiny peach shade which is going to look super pretty over the top of a peach or even a coral shade of lipstick. Next I have Not Naive a nude and very glossy lip gloss which will go on the top of any nude/natural lipstick, or again wear it alone. This next one is my favourite, it’s Must Be Strong a very beautiful sheer but bright pink. Personally I wear this one on its own, when it’s applied it makes my lips look so much better it adds a slight hint of colour and plenty of sheen, it’s perfect when I’m wearing a “no makeup” make up. Lastly I have a clear gloss Freequite simply perfect to top any shade of lipstick for added shine.

I wasn’t really a fan of lip glosses until I became a beauty blogger, I always found them to be so gloopy and sticky and I could feel them on my lips which I didn’t like. Now, I love a lip gloss! As long as it isn’t sticky and gloopy obvs, the Amazing Shine Lip Gloss from Makeup Revolution isn’t, it’s lovely I use mine a lot. It tastes pretty good too and has a vanilla fragrance to it. It’s 10 out of 10 for these lip glosses! If you want to try them for yourself just click HERE to check them out.

A MONTH IN NAIL POLISH DAY 31….

Hello lovelies

Well here we are the last day of the month, it’s Halloween and it’s also the last day of  A Month in Nail Polish too. I’ve picked one from Bourjois again.

IMG_6810

This another 10 day wear, no chips nail polish in the shade number 25, once again it doesn’t have a name for such a pretty nail polish. It’s a gorgeous creamy textured coral colour. It applies opaque in one coat, and unfortunately I flooded the cuticle with this one. They take no time at all to dry and has a super shine when it has dried. I purchased this nail polish from Fragrance Direct HERE.

Well, that’s the month in nail polish all done, I hope you enjoyed it. I’m off now to give my nails a little TLC they really need it after using so much nail polish remover this month.

Thank you for reading lovelies!

A MONTH IN NAIL POLISH DAY 30…..

Hello again lovely people!

Sorry no nail polish post yesterday, we had to go and give my Grandsons rabbit a manicure instead, she needed her claws clipping but here I am today with a super “nail art” effect polish from MUA Makeup Academy.

Capture0010

This is a gorgeous grey glitter magnetic nail polish from MUA in the shade Kings Road. These polishes are easy to do but you wouldn’t want to do them in a hurry you will need to take your time. You simply paint one coat of polish then let it dry, apply another coat and while it’s still wet turn the brush over and hold the magnet over the nail for about 30 seconds when you take the magnet away you are left with a super pattern on your nails. It’s such an easy way to get super nail art on your nails. There are 6 shades in the Magentic Nails range from MUA and they are in the sale for only £1.25 HERE.

Only one more nail polish to bring you now, I think it might be a bit on the pink side not sure yet! I hope you will keep a look out for that.

Thank for stopping by today.

A MONTH IN NAIL POLISH DAY 28…

Welcome back lovelies!

Today’s pretty nail polish is from ELF again, this is the second of just three polishes I have from the brand and I really love them. The quality of the formula is super I love the thickness of it making it a dream to apply. This is Mint Cream.

Capture009

Once again I took this “nailfie” so the quality isn’t as good as when Mark takes my photos. Mint Cream is just one of three gorgeous nail polishes from the ELF trio of mini’s called Vacation. These nail polishes are so creamy and are opaque with one coat, but I did apply two coats. I love how they don’t flood the cuticle when applying to the nails like some budget brand nail polish can do. It has a super smooth finish and dries in about five minutes with a gorgeous shine too. My set of three mini nail polishes are just £4.50 from ELF and you can get them HERE

Have a great day lovelies!

A MONTH IN NAIL POLISH DAY 27

Welcome back lovely people!

Sorry there was no nail polish yesterday, I wasn’t feeling too great so I just decided to have a day of watching tennis on TV. I’m back today with this little pretty though.

IMG_6538

This is Fairy Dust Nails from MUA in the shade Purple Mist. It applies beautifully in one coat and just so incredibly shiny, especially when the light catches it due to the fine, dense glitter particles. The colour itself is more lilac than purple though, it’s a pretty, girly nail polish colour suitable for any occasion. Fairy Dust glitter nail polish is on sale for £2.00 HERE

Only four more days left for A Month in Nail Polish, I hope you have enjoyed reading.
