L’OREAL EYE MAKE-UP REMOVERS….

Hello lovelies, welcome back.

I have two eye make-up removers from L’Oreal today, and one I like more than the other. I have Skin Perfection Micellar Gel and the other is Gentle Eye make-up remover. Capture101

The gentle eye make up remover (on right of photo) is suitable for sensitive eyes. I have to say I had trouble removing all my eye make up with this. I used it as I do with all eye make up removers, I put product onto cotton pad and hold them over my eyes for a few moments to soften the mascara so that it should gently wipe away. But it just didn’t do it for me. It softens the mascara yes but as for removing eyeshadow easily it doesn’t do a very good job. It also made my eyes sting a bit and eye lids felt sticky too.

Now, I am loving the Skin Perfection Miceller Gel. This is more like it, it does everything it says on the bottle, gentle? check soothing? check  refreshing? check. It’s so gentle it’s suitable for contact lens wearers and hypo-allergenic too so great for sensitive eyes. Because this is a Micellar gel I wondered if I could use it as a general make up remover too, even though it doesn’t say I can on the bottle but then it doesn’t say I can’t either. When I poured the Micellar gel onto a cotton pad I noticed that it’s not as thick as I thought it would be for a gel, it doesn’t sink into the cotton pad like a liquid would though so it’s definitely a gel I guess. Anyway I placed the cotton pads on my eyes and let them lay there for a few minutes so that the product could dissolve my mascara and when I removed them the mascara was clearly on the cotton pad I just then wiped away the rest of my eye make up with ease, it’s a great eye make up remover and it didn’t sting my eyes or leave them sticky, just nice and clean and fresh. Lovely. You can purchase this fab eye make up remover from Boots HERE for just £3.99

Thanks for reading, have a great weekend lovely people!
