Hey there lovely people!
This is one of the first palettes, well along with Undressed and Heaven and Earth palettes, that I got from MUA Makeup Academy. This is the lovely Artiste Collection palette.
I just think that this is an ideal palette to take on your holidays. It holds 6 merged eyeshadow shades, 2 blusher shades, a bronzer and a highlighter. Boom, all set for your holiday make up bag, especially if you are flying and you have baggage allowance, this takes up no room at all.. This is 17g in weight. On the base of this palette you do get a “mini masterclass” on how to use it. The eye shadows and the blushers have been given names, as have the bronzer and highlighter. The first two in the palette (Pistachio and Mocca) could be used as a base colour. The middle two (Ice and Grape) look darker in the palette than they are on the eyes. Which actually doesn’t bother me, because I was quite worried when I first got the palette. I thought OMG they are going to be really dark for me! Ice and Grape go on much lighter than I thought they would, and you can build up the colour to the intensity you want. You have two perfect brown shades (Chocolate and Cookie) The two blushers in here are lovely, one is a pretty pink shade (Pink Sparkle) and the other is a peach shade (Primrose) The bronzer in the palette is matte I believe (Bronzed) which I like and is perfect for contouring, and finally the highlighter is a lovely cream shade (Shimmer Kiss) that gives a gorgeous glow, not too shimmery. Too much shimmer and you would just look like a sweaty mess I feel, so this is perfect.
As is usual with MUA all the eyeshadows are very pigmented, and they feel so creamy too considering they are powder! Everything is this palette is easily blendable, so you can use as little or as much as you like. It really is a gorgeous palette for every day use and will easily take you through to those glamorous evening looks too. If you want this for your holidays just click HERE. It’s just £6.00 for 6 eyeshadows, 2 blushers, a highlighter and a bronzer. It’s a no brainer really.
