VIVID BAKED BRONZER from MAKEUP REVOLUTION….

So I have another gorgeous product from new brand Makeup Revolution. Today it’s the Vivid Baked Bronzer that was again given to me at the launch last Monday. There are 4 shades to choose from, “Golden Days” “Ready to Go” “Bronzed Fame” and “Bronze Rock” I have the shade “Golden Days”

Once again the packaging is shiny black with a clear lid that is “domed” (Is the word convex?) The branding is in pretty rose gold. You get 12g of product and a 12 months shelf life once opened. The palette itself feels quite weighty, by that I mean it’s substantial and fantastic quality too.

I haven’t really used bronzer very much, if I do use one it is a matte one, and the only ones I have are in a couple of palettes in my make up collection. This bronzer isn’t matte which I was a bit worried about, I didn’t want my skin looking sparkly. I needn’t have worried it’s not sparkly, it gives the skin a natural healthy colour and glow. The only thing I wouldn’t use it for is contouring, I do think a matte bronzer is best for that. When I tried the Vivid Baked Bronzer on myself I swept it over my cheeks, temples, forhead and lightly across my nose, all the places that the sunlight will naturally hit, it gave me a subtle golden glow. It will look amazing if you are wearing lower cut tops,  apply it to the upper chest just below your neck. (decolletage) for a gorgeous glow. You could also sweep it lightly over your eyelids, add a touch of mascara and there you have it a pretty natural daytime look. Because this bronzer is baked you can also use it on a wet brush for a more intense look.

The swatch on the left is the bronzer applied dry and on the right I swatched it with a damp brush, as you can see it’s  more intense. I think I shall be getting some use out of this bronzer, I tend not to sunbathe too much in the Summer so this is going to be rather good for giving me a “sunkissed” looking skin. I would expect to pay a lot more than the mere £4.00 that this is! Take a look at the other shades HERE.
